William Shatner and Misha Collins are flirting on twitter.

The bar for the year has been set high.

And just so everyone knows, until further notice thus blog and anything to do with And Love Will Steer the Stars will be even more restricted than before - possibly on a semi-permanent hiatus.

The reason for this is this lovely new house in the middle of nowhere, which we were told could get DSL, in fact cannot. Which means I’m down to what I can do on my phone - like this post - and eventually dial up.

I’m sure many of you can imagine the amount of cursing that is accompanying this discovery. I’m looking into workarounds to get stuff uploaded and such, but yeah. Until further notice I’m more or less absent from the internet.

New Year!

Tis the new year in a handful of hours where I am, and while I would love to make this huge post about all that’s happened, all that I’ve managed to squeeze in and how much I’ve changed in twelve months - and how much of a role tumblr and the internet in general have helped or hindered that - there’s way too much to go through. AND, today there’s another big change that will be taking up my time.

I’m moving! By the time the new year officially starts, I should be in a new house to start it off. :D

So stay safe, everybody. I’ll sees you in the new year.

It’s my last day at work and I’ve had Europe’s “The Final Countdown” stuck in my head for the last five hours.

"

"My son is dead because of you," [Dukat] bit out with quiet, icy fury. "You think you can play games with people’s lives like pieces on a board? What gives you the right?"

In spite of himself, Hadlo’s face creased in amusement and he began to laugh gruffly through the dalin’s viselike grip. “Can it be that an officer in the homeworld’s military is too unsophisticated to grasp the very nature of his own species? Are you that raw and untempered, Dukat, that you do not understand?”

I wonder, if you could eat books, which years would be considered vintage?

Would the difference in genres be like the difference between protein & starch, or like sweet, sour, bitter and salty? Would poetry be like those very artistically arranged plates that have very little actual food? Sagas would be like feasting on roast boar and mead in Valhalla. Dr. Seuss would be like those brownies you get at concerts.

… I wanna eat a Neil Gaiman novel now, just to find out what the fuck it would taste like.
